It's a celebration! Auroville the city of dawn turns 49
/3:50 am. I slept two, maximum three hours last night and I have no clue why I'd ever have to hear anything else but the sound of the Indian Ocean's restlesness near by.
But as the alarm sets off I realise there is something more going on. Mopeds, scooties, bikes, a car or two and an insomniac dog talking to the moon are already up and running across the street from the building I live in.
Auroville turns 49 today and it's time to got out, join some hundreads of people from all over the world for the dawn bon fire and listen to the silence within:
6:30 am
The world as we know it.
Bougainvillea. Nothing less.
